>>53983680forgot to mention the legendary/mythical encounters in the older game too they felt like youre coming into contact with some super powerful pokemon, the kyogre/groudon encounter. finding lugia/ho-oh in gen 2 or seeing the 3 dogs in the tower. also even just stumbling across articuno in the first gen. the dialgia/palkia/giratina event in gen4. ontop of this the event mon encounters you could get like mew/latios/shaymin/arceus/darkrai/cresellia i had cheat codes for the event items so got to experience all of these extra ones. I dont think the legendaries have the same sense of power/mystery about them in the newer games
