Cool Pokémon but it's kind of stuck in this awkward position that a few single stage Pokémon are in. For a Single Stage it's stats are a little too good to just throw as an early or even Mid game Rare encounter, so it's usually shoved rather late, or post game.
Other Pokémon like Kangashkan would have fallen into this too but both Gen 6 & Gen 7 give you the opportunity to get it rather early.
