>>12898348While I disagree with you as I feel Pokemon should have some bad to go with the good or else it wouldn't feel right, I still respect the fact that you acknowledge it isn't a gen thing. If you going to hate something then at least hate it for the right reasons so with that said you are much better then those complaining that "Pokemon turned to shit" where in reality it always been shit they just didn't mind it as much when they were kids.
With that said I would recommend the SMT series. Usually they have great designs that are more complex then Pokemon but aren't as over designed as Digimon.
Image related is the only thing that come to mind that you may actually hate from the series but all of the demons are based on myth or legends so surely there a good reason for the design choice.
