>>17407582And where the fuck do you think you get a doctor, especially if you "haven't been to college" and likely have no money?
A "disabled student services", which is a criminally mislabeled place to being with, exists to basically help people whose state of mind (you know; psychology; if someone says they're very sad, guess fucking what? That's some basic spectrum of depression my special snowflake) or financial state is keeping them from moving on in their life. If you have no money and are on a fucking pokemon board at five AM, chances are you're not a neurotypical person and you need access to help resources.
I was, in as sensitive a way as I could, advising a guy who probably DOES have something going on in his life (as recent numbers show that the number of "disabled" people in this country simply based on neurological studies are likely five times more than were reported ten years ago) of services that exist to help him.
The worst that could possible happen is that they'd give him free counseling, who could provide either a diagnosis or connections to financial aid services.
Don't be a presumptuous ass and don't be so fast to dismiss other people who think they might need help (or who don't think they need help but clearly deserve it). If you haven't reached a place in therapy where you can realize that your life isn't unique and your suffering is actually something shared by HUNDREDS of millions of Americans, chances are you are still in some self-serving narcissistic phase where you think depression is something that makes you special rather than something that is very, very hard to seek help for.
>by the way; how about that pokemon, am I right guys!?
