When I imagined pixelmon online, I imagined things like all the gym leaders, elite four members, and so on being actual players. You could get a reputation and actually become the very best on the server. There could be different teams like aqua and magma and there could be pokemon wars between the teams and depending on which team wins the map gets affected, like team rocket members could actually take over different cities/towns and stuff. I know it's very high expectations, but it's just how I idealized it.
