If Terapagos' power really does manifest things from thought like the Imagination theory states, then the 'baby' is actually something that works in favor of the theory - if its scales are sentient and capable of moving around on their own, it explains how it can spread its influence to Pokemon's desires via Terastallization. This isn't a blow to imagination, but it most certainly is another nail in the coffin for Time Travel.
