>>38918086I feel you, brother. Pokemon Red was my first game. My dad actually bought it for me to spite my mom, because she didn't want me to have it. That game and the gameboy color was the first video game I ever had. I have great memories of watching the show and going to the movies with both of my parents. Countless hours playing all of the games across the generations with friends. It was always a comforting thought to know that, no matter how life changed, Pokemon would always still be there, waiting, with all my favorites to come back to. It stings to think that's no longer the case, and not even because Pokemon ended so much as it just... gave up.
