He's just a cartoon ladybug. That's it. And yet, I was so excited for Johto Pokemon that when he flew across the screen in Pikachu's Rescue Adventure (the short before Pokemon 2000) I promptly lost my shit. My cool older best friend/neighbor was more calm but he shared my excitement. But we've gone separate paths now... and I'm just reminded of a friendship that could have been.
So I have this dumb cartoon ladybug that holds so many beautiful, yet sad memories. I love you, you goofball bug boy, and I hope others will appreciate you the way I once did, and still do.
