It hasn't been good since G/S/C, and I guess it's not so much that it got worse as it just never got better, it's been content to just coast, when it could have focused on improving game to game; it's not like Pokemon wasn't heavily flawed from the beginning. Anyone who still gives two shits about Pokemon in 20fucking20 has some problems. Play something else, for fucks sake, it's past time you look beyond a game made for literal children that only ever concerns itself with appealing to said children.
