>>57333152It's been about 4.5 years now since the project got announced, 4 years since the Twitlonger talking about the development hell, 2 years since the name change to Aurora Crystal, and just over a year since Dray mentioned the gen 5/6 mons being added with HG-Engine (potentially 7 too?). He retweeted AphexCubed's post about BBVW2 Redux recently so he's still kicking thankfully.
Overall it's been a long time now, but there's been lots of progress it would seem, and it would appear the scope of the project has transformed a lot over the years. He was also helping AphexCubed make BBVW2 Redux, which definitely took some attention away from Aurora Crystal.
Call it feature-creep, but the prospect of later gen mons in gen 4 makes the wait all the more worth it, for me anyways. Either way, Drayano has been making hacks for over 15 years now, he's a grown guy and I'm sure life is busy on his end. Same with all other hack creators frankly, and the anticipation is part of the fun.
I'm sure you know most of this already, but never hurts to remind others who're feeling impatient. I myself finally gave in and played SG again about this time last year.
