For example, Xatu from Pokemon Go has Pinpoint Wave which targets V pokemon. Would this also work against an ex pokemon? I only play the game casually and this came up recently, wasn't sure if there is an official answer, or people just go with what feels right. To me "V" is just a stand in for multiprize, but i dunno.
