I think the only issue people had was that the previews gave away every hint featured in the episode.
That, and the "date" was only featured for the first 5 minutes, with Ash acting like he was back in BW, and then running off, leaving Serena on her own.
Overall though, it was a cute episode. And it proved denialfags wrong yet again by only making Serena's feelings stronger.
