It's a Normal-type Gym based off Blaine's, and it has questions like "Is Mankey a Fighting-type?" and "Is Pewter City in Johto?" Some trainers cheat, though, like using a Clefable even though the Fairy-type is incorporated into the game.
I fight Gym Leader Joe, and his team consists of Raticate, Persian, Pidgeot, and Snorlax, the highest one at Lv. 53. I am so underleveled at this point that it's funny. Hitmonlee and Raikou live long enough to take his team down, though.
He gives me the White Badge, setting racial equality movements back twenty years in the process. Shelshockr finally evolves after the fight, and I'm not really sure where to go now so I'll see if I can reach Eagulou Park and if there's anything of interest there.
