This is coming from a Galladefag, its still basically an upgrade in its stats as well as performance on its sets and i'm happy it got some sort of buff.
Those who complain about inner focus, did it really benefit from its other abilities? Maybe Justified but they were both situational at best.
The whole mega thing made Medicham, considered one of its counterparts, a bit faster and a bit stronger, when it wasn't mega it was RU just like Gallade is now and when it got a mega evolution, said mega was banned from UU. Gallades more versatile in what it can do as well anyway, so its not like it wont make it to UU at least. They could have just as easily given it nothing to make it sink lower in usefulness.
