>>44644757Ok. I’m kinda obsessed over the gen 8 fossils rn and I love imagining the weird anatomy and ways the canon ones would go about their lives, and i can’t decide which excluding Dracovish is my favorite (no hate i just like Arcto and Zolt more so he has the lesser of the two parts to me)
But more than this, I really REALLY love imaging how different combinations would be like pic related. I love picking apart the small details like color differences and fin length changes and other subtle design oddities between the canon ones and think about all the weird ways they could apply to other combinations and what strange anatomy they could have. I dont think a single fakemon artist has captured the potential they have set up by the other 3 fossils and just use Dracozolt’s logic of front half + back half. I have several ideas for a few combos and I was I was good enough to draw them out. Maybe someday.
Also, I do indeed like to imagine what the fully restored original mons would be like as well. After some research, I’m pretty confident that -Zolt is a microraptor that could actually fly like a bird, and Draco was a literal dragon or drake instead of a dinosaur, among other things.
I was there in the thread when they first leaked before SWSH, I was there to ask the leaker for more angles of them so I could better grasp the concept and the leaker actually responded, I used 3 of them in my playthrough and my first shiny ever was a Dracozolt cause I cared enough to hunt for once... yeah I kinda fell in love with them maybe a little too much
