>>19072223The new concept is fine, it's just drawn like absolute shit. Its shape is too simple and geometric, its face and eyes lack personality, it doesn't look organic, it looks more like a toy. Look at how its tail is one line with the fur just painted on, and its legs are just flaps with zig zag claws. It looks like it was drawn by an 8 year old.
A lot of new Pokemon suffer from this, with their face and features just pasted on like stickers instead of three dimensional, lacking details like defined digits, and colors separated by hard unnatural edges instead of blending into each other. Pic related.
