>>56193758Good points honestly and pretty much my feelings as well, Gyarados isn't all that it's cracked up to be, I think in Reborn it would have been perfectly fine being available in Chrysolia, in Rejuvenation probably around mid Terajuma and in Desolation I'm not too certain, probably right before Tristan.
Volcarona in my eyes is far more stupid in terms of setup sweepers, if you let it get a single Quiver Dance up and you don't incredibly strong physical priority like Sucker Punch or Accelerock you just fucking lose, it's not a but or if, you just do, while DDance Gyarados even after a few boosts is not an unstoppable monstrosity, and yet despite this Volcarona has been a staple in mystery eggs across all rebornlikes while Gyarados isn't.
