I've just beaten my rival outside of Jubilife and getting cheeks from the Trainer School egg was pretty great, could come in handy especially late into the run.
But to answer the question you all clearly have, yes... Johnny Sex is an absolute monster. I am convinced this guy could sweep the game by himself 10/10 I hope he doesn't die soon.
And yes I am also aware that I can pick up the gen 4 starters from Rowan and the gen 1 starters from Jubilife, just haven't done so yet.
