I don't know if I'm wrong or right here or how many people have suggested it, but I'm pretty sure this thing is supposed to be Magnetic Putty for the body with a bolt nut for the head and a sphere magnet inside that for the eye. The wire tail is cute, too. It's kind of like a gray goo Pokemon that's a combination of a lot of magnetic stuff and industrial things. Probably steel/Electric if not some new typing.
