>>26658719lol IDK I got learned my abbreviations from a combination of neogaf and gamefaqs since that is where I originally went for my pokemon news. You don't abbreviate Red and Blue as Re/Bl because its just one word, and in order to differentiate Ruby or Sapphire from Red and (Gen II) Silver, you put Ru/Sa. I've been playing the games since the tail end of Gen I so, before Emerald was released we called Ruby and Sapphire Ru/Sa.
