I'm even having more fun replaying Y than any of my time with Sword despite knowing that Y's quality is surface level and vapid. If they were going to remake DP it probably should've been a Platinum remake with ORAS graphics instead of the bizarre chibi stuff that looks like teenager's first Unity asset flip. There was potential but I think the Switch muddies a lot of perspectives with remakes, especially when good remakes like Link's Awakening and Super Mario RPG are sold for premium stuff like normal HD games when they shouldn't be more than $40
But I don't see that ideal happening, so I'd rather have new games and maybe they might actually get it right eventually
