Despite not being nests, some areas rotate spawns daily. For example, I know of a beach that alternates between Dratini, Magikarp and Squirtle nights.Of course, the problem is that since it's not a nest, we're talking like 1-2 Dratinis every 20 minutes or so except for very rare lucky occasions.
