Bizarre that people were justly irate at the visuals when it was announced, but with the subsequent Switch games to compare it to, now its feels like the best "HD Kanto" were could have hoped for, having to chose between the super deformed but consistent aesthetic and the new games larger but inconsistent one. Oh well. Kids are adorbs, little Red and little Hilda thought they be.
Liked Pewter and Cerulean's themes. The soundtrack was in an odd place since the anime had adapted so much of it before.
