Made a Ranma themed team in my Black replay this week. Unfortunately, I had no idea which character would have been a good 6th party member. Sadly, Pancham isn't until gen 6 so I made do with Cubchoo/Beartic for Genma. I ended up only really using 4 Pokemon anyway.
I kinda didn't expect much from Liepard since it was an early mon but it really could not do much after around the halfway point, hence the lower level. Even before then, it was a bit squishy and kinda hit like shit. At least it eventually got hone claws but I was still disappointed.
Surprises were Swanna and Beartic. Swanna was able to take quite a bit of hits while hitting hard back, on top of being able to sustain itself with Roost. Gave it a shell bell to help it last longer. Beartic hit hard and it was just nice being able to use an ice Pokemon relatively early for once. Was nice wrecking dragons with no worries and it also had good coverage against other types
I was also surprised that I didn't need Galvantula that much since electric is usually one of my more useful types in my other Pokemon playthroughs. I think I needed it for its bug moves more than its electric moves.
Any other Ranma fans here? Which Pokemon would have fit the characters who I didn't use?
