I'm really glad people liked the intro.
I'll be going back to Sugis, sprites, and character art now (mainly those Cameron images I said I'd work on a few threads ago), but of course I'll be willing to make edits / fixes to the sprites in the intro if needed.
>>19310929I don't really prefer one track over the other but I think that one might work better when more characters/designs are finalized, to allow for more interesting scenes. In this intro I limited myself to Simon, Sofia, and Ricardo because with the way the music goes there aren't many different segments to put scenes to, and with only them and a few Gym Leaders / other important NPCs with confirmed designs it was easy to work under those limitations. With that track I can picture more scenes fitting in there, especially ones for the E.T.
That slowdown at the end sounds perfect for a very intense / chilling scene. Like something with the E.T. or Northington looking at statue Quetzar off in the background, or it looming over them, or something. A lot of the official intros have their intense moment / music at the end of the intro too, so it'd work great in that regard. With this intro it was kind of the reverse, with the intense stuff at the beginning and more soft at the end.
All of that said, I'm definitely open to making future intros as more characters, locations, or plot events are finalized if people want.
