Some can't benefit in competitive terms because of the issues coming from the move compatibility from past gens and tutors or breeding and pre-evo only ones. But at least it does allow to receive some of the past HA from the Dream World. I'm sure Pokèmon will go wild with Tokyo 2020 event distributions with Pikachu and several other Pokemon rappresenting the main sport disciplines with some event and themed moves.
