>>39036011>idk about entitled but i find it deliciously ironic that this board spent the last 5+ years complaining about kanto pandering and new regions not consisting of 100% new mons only for them to be told there are now too many pokemon to support.you do realize that these games are still going to have kanto pandering out the ass, right? it's virtually guaranteed that there will be numerous characters with ties to kanto in some way, at least one location copy-pasted from kanto verbatim, and some sort of extra-special shill form for kantomons like the last two generations had.
on top of all that, the entire kanto dex is immune to ever being culled from the games because game freak is too scared of losing the genwunner audience again.

cutting the national dex does nothing to fix this, because only the other generations will get culled while kanto stays intact, and the kanto pandering went beyond pokemon distribution anyway.
