I find it most successful with a bulky NP set. It's a great lure for Rotom-W, Heatran, T-Tar, whatever you need removed.

Air Slash is useful to get past Venusaur, but not necessary. Works great for birdspam for a change of pace from your usual Smogonbird + Staraptor/Pinsir. You could use Roost here too to act as a bulky pivot if you're working with bulky-offence, something like Volcarona, that can recover Rock's Greatest Hits damage.
