Anyone else find it a little jarring? Specifically during those major boss encounters like pic related. It's like the game is in two places at once. First you run around and dodge attacks, and then the game slows down significantly for the more traditional turn-based combat. As if they wanted to satisfy fans of the classic gameplay and also rake in the players who wanted Pokemon to turn into an action game. Almost like Pokken in a way, where they wanted to have it both ways with anime style arena battles and classic 2D fighting at the same time.
I dunno, I'd almost just prefer for the whole game to just take one direction or the other. Either action oriented, or the updated turn-based battles.
