Took a 3 month break after getting frustrated with the Anna/Shade gauntlet in Reborn Yang on her route, had to keep tweaking the team until I got it right, so much hax in the first battle with it having the Gen 1 field effects which uses pokemons higher special stat, has the gen 1 crit rates, dark/steel/fairy became normal type moves etc & she kept spamming gen 1 blizzard with her lugia and articuno freezing or critting my umbreon as I tried to toxic stall it. Frosmoth with it's ability and freeze immunity was amazing for this battle and the AI switched when Grimmsnarl got off a parting shot after a Light Screen so i could use U-Turn with my Frosmoth and get Stealth Rocks up with Gliscor for her Lugia and Articuno when they switch in and poison the Mimikyu used in the first battle which had Psychic that I could just switch Umbreon too (Mimikyu also had Thunderbolt which Gliscor could come back in on and protect stall its toxic timer), after that my mimikyu cleaned up vs Mega Gengar & Aegislash who only had Sacred Sword as an attack. The next couple battles were much better suited for mega ray where it went crazy setting up a couple of Dragon Dances behind a screen until it went down to Arceus which Umbreon just badly poisoned to death to finally get me past that hell.
Tl;dr Pokemon Reborn has a lot of bs battles and im glad I was able to beat it with such a stylish squad
