I switched into Machoke (who is much more tanky than I expected), who shrugged off damage from Crunch, took a Brine, and one-shot it with a crit Revenge. Shame Machoke won't evolve. Probably.

Either way, I found Wedlockes fun the few times I have tried them because it forces you to have more strategy before you make your plays. You can't just switch into whoever you like if the matchup's bad, which allows the little guys to 'beat the odds' or whatever.
