I don't want to admit just how much time I spent learning how to RNG manipulate in FRLG just to get an Adamant Female Growlithe with the 31IV spread I want. I went full blown autism: TID/SID abuse, Teachy TV seed abuse, and copious amounts of save states. All to then dump my save file, dig out an ancient DS, and inject it into a retail cart, before Pal Park->PokeTransporter to get this piss yellow doggo into the modern world. It's as "legit" as you can get within the confines of the game's coding.
Was it worth it? To anyone else, I fucking doubt it. Just clone/pkhex lmao. But there's some sentimental value of working that hard for this one mon.
