Wagey couple of days, but finally made it to the League
>Victory Road CalemMiel finally one shots the fucking Meowstic after fake out, Greninja comes out immediately after. Myrtille basically walls the rest of Calem's team with Charms and lefties.
>Greninja>Altaria>Absol>FlareonAll fall to the thick bun.
Not much noteworthy on victory road, aside from a typical pokémon interaction where a Talonflame Me First'd Rock Slide and both Chocolat and said Talonflame missed all Rock Slides. Also the brain and brawn double battle is so easy with fake out + an Hawlucha who sweeps the other guy lol.
The last trainer gave me the sweats, Alakazam which I know has Shadow Ball vs. my slightly weakened Frites with Spell Tag shadow ball. With no other option, I just went for it. Frites oneshot, but calcing afterwards it turns out that the 1hk0 was an 18.6% chance.
Now i'm going to scrounge up some Tms. Namely Psychic and Shadow Ball. Also a question for my fellow autists, Delphox learns Dazzling Gleam by TM.... But only in ORAS. Is it somewhat cheating if I trade Frites over, learn it DG, and trade it back? Also throw some moveset ideas my way. I've got a pretty good idea on what I want to run, but I'm easily swayed.
>>53575176Gen 4 Gyarados is the most based mon in existence, so personally I'd save it.
>>53574224Way to go! I do kind of wonder what the Lance's team was
>>53574015Charizard is such a useful beast, small wonder
it's the biggest mon next to pikachu.
>>53567402Looking forward to it! Don't stress yourself though, nuzlocking is (theoretically) a tool to relax.
>>53565931Crit probably didnt matter. Self-Destruct also lowers your defense in those gens iirc.
>>53575574The Nidos are so fucking strong, I'm betting that GF slapped the poison type on it to weaken it a bit or something. And keep Marcel, Mr. Mime is only good in Kanto imo.
