Here's a sketch of Koa's contest outfit! His mom did his hair a little differently. I kinda wanted to make something super Hawaiian, but I felt that it was gonna be silly, and Koa would rather wear something that can both accentuate his partner's beauty, but also makes him look cool, so they're not seen as one-trick Ponytas. I settled on a particular inspiration, that being the classic wrestler Bret "The Hitman" Hart, who was the most suave MF alive despite mostly wearing black and pink.
