>>50002961I really think only Mario's mushrooms and powerups can compete with the look and feel of a Pokeball. Where Pokeballs have a simplistically sleek design, Mario powerups have a comforting, perhaps otherworldly gentle design and texture to them. One imagines the soft, even velvety feel of the mushroom and the slight rise in elevation along the spots or other design features. I don't wanna get b& so I'll hold off on ranting about these at length, though.
