Using his good arm, Trevenant begins to charge a mighty Wood Hammer of justice. By now, the move has become his ultimate finisher, a powerful attack that's only used when it is absolutely guaranteed to hit and KO the enemy. This is because otherwise, the recoil would be too strong, possibly KOing Trevenant himself, not good if the enemy withstands the attack.

Trevenant's hand shapeshifts into a wooden mallet, and experiences a case of exponential growth. By the time it reaches critical mass, it's gargantuan, the definition of overkill. And Barbaracle is still too confused to move the fuck out of the way.
Without anything holding him back from being as destructive as possible, Trevenant slams down hard on Barbaracle's head-limb and finishes him off in a explosion of wooden chips.

The head-limb shuts down almost instantly, throwing the other limbs into a screeching hysteria even worse than the one they were already in. The strike then sets off a chain reaction that surges through Barbaracle's body, stunning the other six limbs and shattering his rock armor. Bits and pieces of rock fly everywhere, and the only thing left in the wake of it all is a massive clump of orange barnacle limbs clumped together, floating unconsciously in the water.
