Therefore, in around 7 years time, we will have xoomers on /vp/ proclaiming that Gen 8 was 'always the peak of the series' and they will proceed to conflate the pros of the game over the many, many cons - we've seen this happen with Gens 4, 5, and now Gen 6, and it shows no signs of stopping.
Because these zoomers and xoomers are new to the internet, they are also the loudest on Twitter and Reddit, which means that many susceptible retards online start to believe whatever is shouted at them. To think that Gen 5 has been considered the 'peak' for around 4 years or so in spite of a completely linear main game, ridiculous amount of roadblocks, poor postgame, tryhard villains, shit Poke designs etc. really tells you all you need to know - the community is being gaslit into believing that nugen games are the 'peak of the series'
The question is, how do we stop this manipulation?
