We’ve seen Skwovet stuff it’s face and it’s home with food so we know that’s all it does. Eating so much led to its evolution which isn’t a hard concept to grasp.
People were definitely miffed at Goh’s Cascoons pulling the “hibernation” shtick to evolve but it was written off as inconsequential.
This on the other hand isn’t. Drizzile has literally done NOTHING. And I guarantee you in this episode it’ll be shown to have been secretly training at night, it’ll suddenly know how to battle whatever ends up becoming the foe in this episode, and everyone will congratulate Goh and Inteleon for working so hard.
