Just beat Norman with a little allah akbar action from Koffing I actually was surprised how easy it was. I wasnt planning to keep him in the party anyway, if I need a poison type I have Tentacruel who has good SpD bulk
I think this is my squad goal for now, though Im not sure... In my box I also have:
Mightyena (22) - Mostly an HM slave but good for fending off psychic types since I usually have Hariyama and Tenta with me
Tentacruel (35) - Just a good mon but overlaps a little much with Marshtomp. I also wasted my Toxic TM on Dustox like an idiot so RIP that. It can do Surf/Acid at least
Magikarp (18) - Again, a Gyara overlaps a lot with Marsht/Swamp. Could be useful for DragDance + Ice Fang + Bite (or crunch if it learns it)? its spatk is just so bad though
Machop - Not sure what I would do with a Machamp. I have Graveler/Hariyama already who I'm fine.
Pidgey/Zubat - Could potentially be good flyers. Crobat is a hell of a grind to get though and doesnt even learn that many good moves iirc.
Dustox (31) - Has put in insane work thus far but route 1 bugs just aint viable
Seedot (3) - I could easily get a Shiftry at this point but I aint the biggest fan... Plus he doesnt even learn any grass moves unless I use a Giga Drain or Seed Bomb TM on him... (Seed/Giga) / Faint Attack / Fake Out could be a play though. I do lack good movepool diversity/coverage right now.
Marill/Psyduck/Whismur - Overlaps/not needed
