You enter through A, and hop in the cart. You can choose to turn by leaning to the sides (left and right arrow).
Only one way lets you progress through the dungeon. The others lead to items, long halls of mon encounters, or just loopty cart tracks, but eventually just spit you back out at B.
I thought 4 or 5 was a nice number, but subject to change.
I've officially spent too long on this and need to wake up early tommorow anyways.
