I'll agree that they've been pulling this kind of shit since the beginning... or fairly close to. But, I will say there has always been something about any of the regions that I can enjoy, not only for the new pokemon or NPC but just being able to run around; but in the case of something like this (garchomp mega stone) you really have no freedom, it's a daily chore. Like I said before, this isn't animal crossing, something shouldn't feel like a chore; as for myself, I don't mind hatching several dozen eggs, or training up some mons, as long as in the end I can still play with them online or in game I really could care less.
As for Yahtzee, he does have a couple very good points and I'd say many people on this board could take a few minutes to have a listen and look at themselves and realize that thy're being a bunch of faggots.
In the end, do what you want and don't critisize others for what they do in game or how they play the game.
