Except we got Oricorio, which is based on Hawaiian honeycreepers. The honeycreepers show much greater adaptive radiation than Darwin's finches and are actually native to the area. There were 56 known species of honeycreeper all originating from a line of eurasian finches that had to have traveled at least 2000+ miles at the nearest point to get to Hawaii.
