Tate & Liza had a really devoted strategy, Sunny Day and Light Screen in the first turn prevent the easy spam of Surf, Bite and Crunch and allow them to set at least a Calm Mind and then get healed by Hyper Potion and keep boosting their special stats, thing that was easier to avoid if you had a Chlorophyll and Solarbeam on your team or Sableye and Mightyena while the rest of Pokemon was only waiting to be shot by either Solarbeam, Flamethrower or Psychic coverage.
But now what should the Hoenn Gym Leader teams use to adapt themselves to the new mechanics and threats?
