>>46042317My method (which is explained in detail here
>>46037365) allows for a dynamic level cap where your team may be +/- 10% of the cap (I also use ACE as when I use AVG(mean) I always loose but if you want a Harter MOAR challenge then sure lower the cap) while your team average (mean) MUST also be less than or equal to the level cap.
I find that this flexibility puts a greater emphasis on the trainer's instincts and greater custimization of the team allows the player to have MORE direct control over the result of their run,
SOME people may argue that
>It's unfair to allow one (or more) of your team be between 1 and (in the case of Blue in FRLG for example) 6 over. HOWEVER the overall level average stays the same as the rest of your team must suffer at the expense of the overlevelled mons. In fact I think putting all your eggsi n one basket and trying to sweep with one or two mons is HARDER than just putting a flat cap at the ACE (allowing ALL your pokemon to be == to the ACE while the leader only has ONE that high herself and HE/SHE is techincally running a dynamic level cap == to their own average (mean)Anyways We're at the same spot in Platinid (grinding for FatTina) and I'm planing on giving an extra two levels to both Sauron and Petrus while leaving Mids and Seamus under (as they would be weak to her I believe) and I'll bring up Tux and Phoebus to 26 (the level cap)
BUT
I still think I'm gonna get fucked in battle desu. My plan is to just spam bite with Sauron and honestly he IS my first Crobat EVER like my whole life I thought the zoobat golbat crowbat line was a meme, so IDK I don't really trust him, Petrus is honestly OP starraptor is just a fucking better pidjet honestly but therest of th e team is kinda meh. Phoebus is badass (for a ponyta) and I LOOOOOVE Seamus but I keep heering it's the hardes Nuglock and seein how I lOST my SS last time 2 i have my feers ya dig?
