>>46135952I like him cause he's not about battling but taking the alternate route of learning about a thing he was obsessed with. At least from an Engineer perspective he reminds me a lot of my autistic ass when I was growing up focusing more on my obsessions than with friends and being a bit socially stunted cause of it. Seeing him forced out into the real world by Ash and the Professor is nice cause it's pretty much telling him that you can't achieve shit just by reading and looking at videos, you actually have to go out and explore the damn world. I do think they gave him a Legendary way too early, not counting Eternatus given the game's story requiring it to be captured to be sealed away, but at least they went with his apparent designation as a defender/protector. Plus he's a good compliment to Ash's more energetic/aggressive style.
