Altered Platinum is a hack that I also like quite a bit, a further edit of Dray's Renegade Platinum with even more changes to moves, types, teams, and other things too. In that hack Armaldo and Cradily lose the rock typing in lieu of water.
Even Gamefreak realized by gen 8 that all the fossils being part rock gets boring.
