>>55766235>>55766211I spent all this time worrying that I was going to get spanked during the last set of waves on classic, but I actually did fine. I definitely spammed reset fighting Ivy and I noticed that the RNG must be seeded because if I made the same choices she would as well, so I basically abused the AI/RNG to beat her handily once I figured out the sequence. I then had pretty much no problem with Eternatus. My final team just kept spanning Ground moves and eventually he went down. I don't know who the fuck decided to give him Recover though, that was a bold choice
Final team:
>Clodsire - bulkier than I thought it was going to be and I basically used it as a safe switch in so the AI could make bad choices>Ursaluna - always reliable, Headlong Rush + Play Rough saves the day>Gyarados - the absolute MVP, because I was able to dance on safe opponents or switches and then just completely spank everything. The game didn't really seem to know what to do with this Pokémon because they kept using Rock moves that never quite KO'd or switching out, giving me more dances>Sinischa - I only got it because my team was all fighting and ground types, so I needed something different. Surprised how good it was because it was my go-to special attacker. Signature move stops being useful though in the higher waves>Bewear - I posted earlier that this guy was also an MVP. He took Outrages to the face multiple times and it was great to take out Mega Fug with fucking Double Edge of all things >GMax Kung fu bear - I got this from a rare egg and thought it would be good, but he actually became more useless in the higher waves. I gave it the multi-hit item so Surfing Strikes hit 6x and Snarl would be a harsh debuff, but late game Pokémon all seemed to resist Water I think because I kept using this thing so much early on. It basically did nothing for the last 20 waves
