A cost effective way to reuse fan favorites with slight tweaks to save time developing new pokemon.
First, the positives is that it can improve an older pokemon with new playstyles and types. But I dislike this because some pokemon should just be their own unique pokemon instead of a redesign. The issue is that some are TOO different from their original design but NOT different enough to be their own.
The new lilligant looks different enough to be it's own pokemon, but still has too many similarities to stand out from its original variant and I rather have it be a new mon all together.
