- arc went nowhere and did nothing for the main plot, only took up contests because she had nothing better to do
- was the shortest and blandest contest arc ever
- no real character conflicts outside her crush, which she doesn't pursue or develop in any capacity and is just a context for some spaghetti gags
- can use an electronic map, holy fuck she's a genius
Serena is awful, useless, and most importantly uninteresting, which is why she has no reason to go to Alola over shilling the new sluts. She is only slightly better than Iris because bland is slightly better than obnoxious.
