>>42841486Yeah, they really went to town with the character designs, at the expense of nearly everything else. Having said that, I do like Alcremie, Polteageist and Toxtricity, who are easily my favourites this gen.
The story is never amazing in Pokémon games, but aspects of SwSh's story don't make any sense and even contradict each other, not to mention how the game ACTIVELY prevents you from taking part in anything that's going on, then expects you to be invested in it when they suddenly decide they DO want your input. It would've been better if they'd just gone full sports anime with it, and dropped the Darkest Day part of the plot until the postgame.
But out of interest, which boys do you like this gen?
